Established in 2020, we are a dedicated team with a shared passion for crafting unforgettable moments. With Mackenzie's expert planning skills, Kelly’s creative design touch, and prior experience in the wedding industry, we work together with our clients to make every event exceptional while not taking ourselves too seriously in the process. We started Primrose to bring joy to wedding planning, especially during the pandemic, helping couples navigate the uncertainty and reduce stress. While our commitment to decreasing stress and increasing joy remains, you can take peace of mind knowing we can handle it all.
Now, with several successful wedding seasons behind us, we look forward to creating magical moments with our clients. Whether it's an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, we're here to bring your vision to life and make your day truly special.

Owner & Lead Designer
Kelly is a certified Event Designer through The Wedding Planner’s Institute of Canada, with a passion for creating exquisite events. She is dedicated to making your event vision become a reality. When she is not designing events, she is busy creating custom pieces for her company, Calligraphy by Kelly. Whether you need stationery for your big day or a new custom piece for home décor, Kelly does it all. Kelly also has a diploma in Theatre Arts and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. Coming January 2024, Kelly will be welcoming a baby girl into her family!

Owner & Lead Planner
Mackenzie is a certified Wedding Coordinator through The Wedding Planner’s Institute of Canada. She has years of experience planning weddings, fundraisers, parties, and productions, and has a passion for organizing and coordinating. She is here to make your event planning process as stress-free as possible. When she isn’t working on weddings, she is producing musical theatre with her theatre company, Uniform Theatre. Mackenzie also has a diploma in Theatre Arts and a certificate in applied Bookkeeping. She loves to spend time with her husband, her golden retriever Barry Dogilow, and her beautiful daughter Charlotte.

Aly is so excited to be joining the Primrose Team officially as Associate Planner. Working with us over the past year as a wedding day assistant has sparked a love and passion for wedding celebrations, as well as allowed her to gain an immense amount of knowledge in the planning, coordinating, and designing departments. She loves love and is ready to take on a larger role in making all of your wedding dreams come true. Aly has a diploma in Theatre Arts and a certificate in Social Media Marketing. When she isn't running around making your wedding perfect, you can catch her performing, creating social media content, and binging reality TV!
