A moody, late fall wedding with a sacred, celestial, and astrological vibe.

Planning and designing this wedding was a very exciting task, as we haven’t had a theme like this before. Sara and Jeff are spiritual people with a great interest in the divine world, including but not limited to fortune-telling and astrology. Sara wanted to incorporate many tarot card elements, which you can see specifically from their table numbers to their custom ceremony arch, which represents “The Four of Wands.”

For those of you who do not know, The Four of Wands card shows two happy people dancing and celebrating with flowers in their hands. In the foreground, a beautiful wreath abounding with blossoms and grapes suspends between wands. Together, these elements represent the joy and satisfaction that comes with achieving an important goal or milestone. When presented upright, this card has a meaning of celebration, joy, harmony, and homecoming. Perfectly describes a wedding, right?

They also wanted to incorporate outdoor and fall elements into the design, with almost a whimsical and fairytale element showcased in the moss-covered tree stumps, candles, and twinkle lights, with gold and dark green elements. Velvet linens were the perfect addition of texture, and we couldn’t have this moody vibe without a greenery ceiling installation and string patio lights.
